Anti Inflammatory Diet: Great Meal and Snack Ideas to Reduce Inflammation

There are many ways of reducing inflammation. Many of the ideas I am about to suggest can be implemented easily and quickly into your life. However, if you have chronic inflammation, or severe inflammation, I encourage you to seek hepp from a healthcare practitioner.

Here is my anti-inflammatory diet

Eat tons of fruits, vegetables, and seafood. Blueberries, mangoes, and pinapple are especially good. Drink smoothies and some fish oil to it.

Add generous portions of purple or dark vegetables to every meal and snack for their fiber and natural anti-inflammatory compounds. Many herbs and foods such as oregano, tumeric, garlic powder, green tea, blueberries, and ginger contain bioflavonoids and polyphenols that limit free-radical production in the body. This will help

Regarding fish, I suggest you eat only wild Pacific or Alaskan salmon (unless organically farm-raised). Because toxins magnify as you go up the food chain, smaller species such as sardines, anchovies, and shellfish are great choices also. Best to bake them rather than fry them.

Add essential fatty acids (EFA’s) to your diet. Because omega–3 fatty acids are in shortest supply in our modern diet, I recommend you take an omega–3 supplement daily to rebalance your diet. This is one of the easiest, safest, and most convenient and yet most effective steps you can take to quell chronic inflammation in your body.

Your body will feel lighter and thank you for it. I have found fish oil EFA supplements to be most helpful, but if you are a vegetarian, algal sources can be used with good result.

I also encourage you to include a small handful of nuts and seeds in your diet daily, especially walnuts, pumpkin seeds and freshly ground flaxseed, which are good sources of omega–3’s. Some people also recommend adding an omega–6 supplement called gamma linolenic acid (GLA) if you have rheumatoid arthritis. For cooking purposes, I suggest grapeseed oil, and for salad dressings it’s olive oil, which is high in oleic acid, an omega–9 with anti-inflammatory polyphenols. You can even have the ratio of EFA’s in your blood measured with an EFA profile that evaluates omega–3 levels versus omega–6’s versus omega–9’s. Remember, when it comes to essential fats, it’s all about balance — read our articles on the truth about fat and cholesterol, the benefits of omega-3’s, and the differences between omega-3’s, 6’s and 9’s for detailed info.

Eliminate certain foods and additives from your diet. I know how hard it can be to say no to the many foods that turn the body’s inflammatory dial up high. Number-one on the list of offenders would be trans fats — hydrogenated oils. Stay away from processed foods and desserts. Eliminate or minimize the sugars, refined carbohydrates, and gluten-containing foods that women often crave when their systems are off-balance. These and many other additives and preservatives are well hidden in processed convenience foods, making them very difficult to avoid. so if the craving comes up, you have to find alternative sweetners such as stevia or agave.

You will also need to steer clear of known allergens, and be conscous of increasing food sensitivities as well. Gluten, eggs, dairy, soy and nuts are some of the most common dietary irritants. To help you identify sensitivities that could be causing you problems, follow an elimination diet, avoiding a substance for two weeks, then reintroducing it for a day or two. Yes, it can be tough at first to make changes like this, but the payoff is huge — it can make a tremendous difference in how you feel in a surprisingly short period of time. Tipping the balance — away from pro-inflammatory, toward anti-inflammatory — can take place almost overnight for some people.

How to Set the Law of Attraction in Motion: Breakthrough tips to get what you ask for

In order to create what you want using the power of the Law of Attraction, you have to get clear about “where” the Creative Power resides. Here is a reminder:

“The part of you that really WANTS to create something, is NOT the creator in you. The part of you that watches life change with a twinkle in your eye, that dreams for the fun of dreaming, regardless of circumstances, IS the CREATOR in you. This part is free, fearless, and knowing. BE this part, and you will SEE change arise spontaneously.”

The other thing you need to do, is realize yourself as the Source of everything you already have. Here is a practice to explore:

If you want to create something new, GET IN THE HABIT OF creating things you already have. Look at a cup for instance and declare: “I have a cup.” Think of a GOOD situation you are in, such as having a close friend, and declare: “I have this friend.” Let this be a meditation.

Repeat mantras for things that are already manifested. Focus your creative intent on what you have now.

At first glance, this process may seem strange. But fear not, it is magical: By feeling, visualizing, and creating what you ALREADY have, this practice changes your entire reality and AMPLIFIES your power and focus to bring you what you want. Try it for three weeks.

Let me know how it goes.

please ignore this post. this is simply a verfication.

“Your duty is to Be, and not to be this or that.” ~Ramana Maharshi
Suggested Exploration: What old identities, roles, or labels are you comfortable letting go of? Notice that your inner Light, strength, beauty and wisdom and have NEVER been encapsulated by a role you have played.
Make it your practice today to shed old ideas of yourself… Change them… Shape-shift them, like looking up at a cloud and seeing a new shape come alive…. You can do it.
Be what you know yourself to be, the YOU you have known all along.

Keys to Lucid Dreaming

By Create Magic

Your mission tonight…. should you choose to accept it!:

A lucid dream is when you “come awake” during a dream and realize you’re dreaming. They are much like out-of-body experiences. In fact many say they ARE out-of-body experiences.

Whatever they are, I am going to share with you the keys to having a lucid dream. Have you ever had one? They’re really powerful. I have them once in a while. Not only are they fun (you can make things float, have super powers, teleport, or of course you can explore sexuality), but I find lucid dreams really helpful because they clear out worries and give you access to solutions to daily challenges.

Anyone can have one. It is not hard to have one, but it does take consistent practice and attention.

Here are some tips from the book Lucid Dreaming, by Stephen Laberge.

The key idea is this: During the day begin to look at your life in NEW ways. Explore the dream-like quality of life. Life is quite surreal, when you let it be… Play with this idea and the feeling of the surreal…

Who are the people you see everyday? Are they mirages??? Teachers? Are the objects you see really solid???? Let your imagination step off of concrete reality for a bit… (You can come back later!)

The point is: Let the dream-like quality of life become habitual and this in turn will TRIGGER A LUCID DREAM during the night.

Here are some exercises to enhance the process. A few minutes a day of these can transform your dreaming and waking life:

~ Imagine you are in a dream during the day. Periodically ask yourself: “Am I dreaming?” This can trigger you to ask yourself this question during a nighttime dream, which can easily trigger lucidity in the dream state.

~ Choose a recent dream you had about someone and purposely create an imaginary dialogue with them. Visualize yourself speaking to this person, resolving a conflict, getting good information from them, or speaking your peace.

~ Set an intention before going to sleep. This is really important. Say to yourself: “I will come alert and awake in a dream. I will awaken with new knowledge to help me during the day. I will awaken with a clear solution to such and such problem.”

~ During the day, visualize yourself enjoying mystical actions. Try to make something float with your mind, imagine teleportation, see light everywhere, etc.. This will become habitual during the day and can lead to magical revelations during the night.

I saw Stephen Laberge give a lecture once. He got everyone looking around the room as if we were all “characters in a dream.” He knows his stuff inside and out.

If you want an audio to help increase your dream recall and trigger lucid dreams, I highly recommend the ones made by Effective Learning Systems. Find the

What helps me is to keep a pen and paper by my bed. At one point I had a special pen with a light on it which was great (available at an office depot), but now I just keep my cell phone nearby.

Persistence pays off! Don’t give up after a few nights. This is something to explore for at least three weeks. Ask your dreams for an answer. Intend to have the answer be clear and easy to understand.

Another thing to do is to look at your beliefs about dreams. What do you really believe about dreams? Feeling and knowing their helpfulness in your heart will open you up to their helpfulness.

Let me know how this mission goes!
